Pets:
Our newest little kitten seems to be fairing well, she's at least scampering around the kitchen when let out of her box, and seems to like the solid food that the other cats get when let into the area around the food dishes.

Though I'm not sure how she likes the pets we have already, as she didn't seem to like our dog much (until she found out that the dog was more interested in sniffing and licking her than chasing or biting), and she's really not yet interested in being friends with our other two cats (she's been arching her back and hissing at them, so we're not sure how to help her like them).

We think she's about three weeks old right now, so not really old enough to be properly vetted yet, despite one of her eyes possibly needing some care and attention.

Grades:
I got all of my grades back from the last semester, and am quite satisfied with them.

They were all Bs (save for the computer graphics course, which was a B+), which bumps my GPA up to 3.11 from 2.79 over last semester.

I think I'm doing fairly well at university, considering that I'm the first in my family to have actually attended one (though my paternal grandfather did take a correspondence banking course through a university once), and also to have been the first known homeschooled student admitted to my university, I think I'm rather happy about that. =^.^=

Tetris:
I've started to lay down the framework for the second version of my Tetris game, which I'm currently calling "Tetris Power" (do you have the power?).

As I never figured out how to do this until now, I need to find a way to set up some sort of "dialog" or "window" system for the game so I can easily set up multiple screens (splash, options, main menu, main game, etc.) that can be easily switched between.
(though it's starting to seem like a Java-styled program, what with all the classes I'm using...)

I have quite a few "powerups" planned(probably could use a better word, but I'm not sure what to use yet, so it'll probably stick) and am deciding where to put them as far as modules go (and whether I should create classes for them or just wire them in wherever I can).

Websites:
In addition to helping Kathy Kellogg by redesigning her site, I'm also supposed to be working on designing a prototype carpooling website, which has definite investment opportunities.

So why am I having so many difficulties getting started on them? >.<

Other game:
The game project I was working on with the rest of my team for our final project has been deemed "version 1.0", which means it needs to be rewritten.
(yes, I know, two version 2.0 projects on the go. All I can say is "so far")

Most of us are involved with the rewrite, and we've all decided that the most important part of it this time around is the networking engine (last time we focused on the game engine and graphics, which means that very little actually worked properly once we got to the networking code (which was actually the focal point of the entire project, so that was rather poor planning on our part. However, we did hit our goal of 64 players connected to one game simultaneously, which was great).

We can even reuse some of the code again as it's pretty flexible and not part of the problem we had, but aside from even that, I'm not sure how well we'll do...

Ani-Midi:
I haven't even started to do any work on Ani-Midi 2.0 yet, mostly because I want to wait until after my birthday so I have less to think about.

However, I think I've decided to write it in C++ this time around, provided that Java is slow enough that I think there will be problems.
(this also hinges on whether there is a C++ MIDI library available and a useful widget library based on OpenGL that I can use, as both of these are problems I'll need to address before I get too far into C++)
