Antsy over job stuff...
Apr. 26th, 2013 10:07 pmI've been off work for three or four weeks now, and have started to notice my mood darkening again.
I guess having a job that makes me money like that really helps ease some of my concerns, and getting out of the house on a regular basis gets me out of my parents' hair enough that I'm not too contaminated by their attitudes.
Part of my nervousness is a lack of money.
I noticed that when I was working and earning, I was a heck of a lot more confident because I didn't have to be quite so tightly aware of how much I was spending.
The other part is because I'm not doing anything.
Yet again I'm just sitting here, doing nothing, giving my mind too much time to dwell on unpleasant things, and it isn't doing me any good.
I think I was even sleeping better at night, even though I was getting less sleep the days I worked...
Only problem is that the job I was doing is only going to last about three more weeks, as they switch from door-to-door lawn aeration to door-to-door power- and window-washing.
I might consider staying on, but I'm not really sure I'd want to.
Other kinds of work I wouldn't mind doing would be retail (even for a dollar store would be easier than this), food service (just so long as it's a place I trust, like Tim Horton's), or maybe even temp work.
Something so I'm not just twiddling my thumbs...
