Game crosshairs...
Apr. 10th, 2007 10:56 pmMy brother recently got me playing another online game, and if you know much about my game preferences, you'll know that I prefer not to play online games because I'm rather anti-social aside from forums and such.
The game is called Gunz, the duel, and is a combat game, with guns (of course), as well as swords and daggers, so it has more of a Medieval feel to it.
Now, when you're using the guns (aka, "ranged weapons"), you get some crosshairs to help with aiming, and you can actually choose one of several built-in crosshairs, or you can even design your own and drop them into the game.
So, with my knowledge of how Blender works, I managed to create my own crosshairs that work acceptably well for a first attempt:

Both images are owned by me, but you can copy them for use in any game that lets you use custom crosshairs without written permission. Otherwise, please ask for written permission before using them.
And I've even managed to create some custom crosshairs for my brother, who seems to like them so far.
So if you'd like me to create some for you, go ahead an ask me, I can certainly try.
