No longer allowing anonymous comments
Jan. 6th, 2011 01:31 amI just received a rather odd comment which I'm quite sure is spam, as it was short, nonsensical, and used BBCode formatting instead of proper HTML.
Because of this, and the fact that LiveJournal allows you to post comments with almost any OpenID credentials, I am no longer allowing anonymous comments on my journals.
If you want to comment on my journal, please use your LiveJournal or OpenID accounts (I recommend using your Google OpenID).
(note that I do not have Facebook in any way, shape or form, have no intentions of getting it any time soon, so I do not encourage use of your Facebook account for posting comments here)
While I do realise that this is a very small thing, I feel you all should be warned about this.
Spammers beware!
