The PNE and Rolf Harris
Aug. 26th, 2010 01:32 amToday (as it's after midnight already) Rolf Harris is going to be at the PNE, the annual "Pacific National Exhibition" (more like a fair and carnival now, and less of a national exhibition, not that I'm complaining) playing with Dal Richards and his orchestra at 1pm.
Rolf Harris is a famous musician, artist, TV personality, and instrument inventor.
(at least, according to the Wikipedia article on the Wobble Board)
It will be fascinating to see what he's going to be up to today...
I'll also be spending a fair bit of time at the rest of the PNE, as there's usually quite a lot of stuff to see, do and buy.
(though I'll be curbing the latter, as it can get rather expensive)
One thing I'm definitely going to get are "Those Little Donuts", a company that seems to be there every year with mini donuts (plain or cinnamon-sugar coated), which is where I got the idea that I want a mini donut maker.
Later in the day, I'll be heading over to my grandmother's apartment to help celebrate her birthday.
We'd hoped to take her to the PNE so she could see Rolf, but she declined the offer, so we're celebrating it at her place instead.
Aside from that, I probably won't be home much at all, so less time to chat or play games.
(wait, is that a good thing or a bad thing? I forget)
