Gangnam Style's appeal was in the catchy tune (with or without an understanding of the lyrics), the diverse urban locations and the original dance moves, including the "Invisible Horse Dance" (where Psy shakes one arm in the air.)
Like with many memes it turned into an excuse for others to imitate it. I've seen several, but the furry version by EZ showed more imagination and better film footage than most.
Back to the panto (joke), it would be good to see the "making of" video. If it were possible for me to be an audience member I would.
