This Friday!

Yup, Friday's the big day.

I have to get up really early (6am as opposed to my usual 10am), dress up nice, pack a few things (such as a camera, something to do when I'm bored, some notes, and maybe some binoculars), take a drive through rush-hour traffic, stand in two different lines for an average of half an hour each, put some robes on over my other dress clothes, walk across a stage, have my picture taken, my hand shaken, receive a sheet of paper, walk off, and wander around with my family, before heading to a social event, where I get to chat with like-minded individuals, then head back home with enough time to deliver newspapers on one route.

It's going to be quite a busy day.

You'll do fine. It's not like walking a tightrope or hot coals.

...actually it's going to be fairly warm in your region. Is the hall air-conditioned?

I don't expect to have much in the way of the jitters, though maybe a bit of butterflies-in-the-stomach.

Because the campus is on a mountain, it's going to be a little cooler than the rest of the province, and to make things even colder, the hall's actually a covered space between two buildings, and is a narrow space with open ends, so it could be even colder.

Still, quite an achievement. =^.^=
